How we choose tours
Every tour on this site has at least 4.5 stars and 30 reviews on the partner marketplace. Within a collection, the order comes from a published method, and a commission never changes it.
The bar
The island has more than a thousand bookable products. We keep the ones rated 4.5 or higher by at least 30 travellers, which leaves 181 at the last refresh on 13 September 2026. Products below the bar are not shown, even when they would earn us more.
We also look at the Viator reviews on their own, since those come from completed bookings. A tour rated below 4.5 by five or more Viator travellers is not recommended, whatever its combined score says. It goes into the exclusion log of its collection with the figures.
The order
Inside a collection, tours are ranked by rating weighted by review volume, so a 4.9 from 1,300 reviews sits above a 5.0 from 40. Then we read every product in the collection, its inclusions, conditions, itinerary and options, and move a tour down when it does not fit what the collection promises, for example a sunset cruise inside a whale-watching list.
What does not count
Commission rates, operator requests and how a product is promoted on the marketplace. We do not accept payment for placement.
What we do not know
We have the marketplace's figures, not the reviews themselves, and we have not taken every tour. Where a claim comes from the operator, the page says so.
Refresh
Prices, ratings and review counts come from Viator and Tripadvisor and carry the date they were checked on every page. A tour that leaves Viator leaves the site at the next refresh.
