West Madeira day tours: which one to choose

Most west days follow the same line: Cabo Girão, the north coast, a long stop at Porto Moniz and, on seven of the eleven, the Fanal forest. What changes is the group, the price and how long you get at each place.

For a small group I'd book the eight-seat minibus: two hours at Porto Moniz, half an hour at Fanal, and first in our ranking. Its bookings need two adults. The Surreal west tour is the other eight-seater and gives Fanal 40 minutes.

For the lowest fare, the small-group day from €32.90 has eight stops and two hours at the pools. The Lido coach is the most reviewed west day and carries up to 55. The electric van takes seven, starts at 10:00 and stops at Seixal beach.
