Madeira tours with pickup outside Funchal: which one to choose

From Machico, I'd choose Sunrise in Areeiro Peak for sunrise and a short walk. Pickup is included there and in Santana. Santa Cruz and Funchal are covered too. Hotel pickup in Ponta do Sol and Calheta is included with the vineyard and lunch day.

For a jeep day from Machico, try the west route through Fanal or the east route to Santana. Both also have pickup points in Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol. Collection there may cost extra. Agree your address before booking.

Staying near Seixal or Porto Moniz? Surreal West Tour has pickup points there and returns to your hotel entrance. Amazing West charges extra for distant addresses. Agree the return point too. Its itinerary ends in Funchal.

Why can a hotel appear on a pickup list but still be outside the collection area?

A hotel on the list can still fall outside the pickup area. We excluded two small-group day tours because their pickup terms rule out collection from the outlying towns. Their hotel lists include northern addresses. Agree collection from your exact accommodation before paying.

When will I be collected and brought back?
