The short levada walk is the reason I'd book this one. You travel in an open-top UMM jeep on old roads and off-road tracks. There's a 30-minute walk along a levada on Paul da Serra.
The route passes Ponta do Sol on the way towards the plateau. Porto Moniz gets two hours for lunch or a swim. Food and drinks cost extra. Entry to the Porto Moniz pools is extra too.
The guide and pickup in Funchal or Caniço are included. You can arrange a meeting point near the port. Ask about the free parking if you're coming by car from outside Funchal.
