Madeira airport transfers: which one to choose

A booked transfer means a driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your door. Book at least a day before your transfer. Each price here is for one way.

How the price works matters more than the headline figure. The three transfers charge in three ways: a flat fare per adult, a fare per car, and a fare per adult that depends on the group size. The table below shows what each costs to Funchal for one to eight adults.

For one or two adults I'd book the per-adult transfer at €14.98 each. From three adults up, the Madeiralimo transfer costs less of the three: €35.01 for three, €45 for four to six. It only runs from 07:00 to 22:00. If you're staying outside Funchal, the per-car transfer prices ten areas of the island.
