Canyoning in Madeira Island- Level 1

Before you book

• Book for two to ten people.
• Travellers must be aged 10 to 65. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• You must be 1.33 to 2 metres tall.
• You must weigh 30 to 110 kg.
• Give your shoe size when booking.
• Give this one a miss if you're pregnant, or if you have a back or spine injury or a heart condition.
• At least one adult (10+) per booking, up to 10 people per booking.

Programme

1. Pickup in Funchal or Caniço for the journey to Funchal Ecological Park
2. Abseils with pool jumps and slides, about 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes in the canyon
3. Return to Funchal or Caniço

Meeting point, pickup and return

Hotel pickup or meet at the start point. Pickup 5 minutes before departure. 2 pickup points listed by the operator.

If you don’t see your hotel or accommodation listed in Funchal or Caniço, please email us, and we’ll do our best to assist you. For locations outside Funchal or Caniço, we will meet at the designated meeting point at 9:30 AM.

When you arrive at the main gate of Parque Ecológico do Funchal, follow the signs to "Barracão Bar." You’ll come across a dirt road that is easy to navigate and safe, leading you to a large parking area. Show in Google Maps

You come back to the same place.

Schedule and confirmation

Usual timetable: daily, at 09:00. Check your date when you book.

Cancellation, weather and limits

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
