East 4x4 Santana & Peaks

By Green Devil Safari · listed in 4x4 jeep tours of east Madeira

Our take

I'd pick this if you're staying in Machico and want pickup there. Pickup in Machico is at 09:15 for an extra charge. The shared departure can have up to 40 people.

You stop in Machico and at Portela before Porto da Cruz's rum factory. Lunch is in Santana with time to see the houses. The route passes through Ribeiro Frio on the way to Pico do Arieiro. There's about 15 minutes at the peak.

Your driver-guide and pickup in Funchal are included. Lunch costs extra. Ask about any pickup charge before booking from Caniço. I'd choose another trip if you want longer at Pico do Arieiro.
