I'd choose this if you want walks between the jeep sections. There's a guided levada walk at Ribeiro Frio and another walk to Guindaste. You share the departure with up to 12 people.
The day begins at Pico do Arieiro before reaching Ribeiro Frio. You visit the trout reserve there. Santana is the stop for the houses and lunch. Later you walk to Guindaste's glass platform before Porto da Cruz.

This an excellent opportunity to discover the Trout Reserve. We will also guide you on a levada walk with amazing views of Faial. We will make our way to our next stop using less busy, narrow, and off-road roads. This will take around 60 minutes.
- Santana
We will introduce the beautiful, traditionally built Santana houses. This is also where we usually visit a local restaurant for lunch. We will make our way to our next stop using less busy, narrow, and off-road roads. This will take around 30 minutes.
- At sea
We will take a lovely walk with amazing views that will lead us to Guindaste, an amazing glass platform right above the ocean. We will make our way to our next stop using less busy, narrow, and off-road roads. This will take around 40 minutes.
- Porto da Cruz
An excellent opportunity to take a stroll and discover a gorgeous black sand beach We will make our way back to your accommodations. This will take around 60 minutes.
