For a party needing several tuk-tuks, I'd start here. The Couple option takes up to two people in one vehicle. The Family option uses two tuk-tuks for up to four. The Group option uses three for up to six.
You pass the painted doors in the old town before heading uphill. The church stop lasts 10 minutes. You then have 20 minutes at the toboggans. Buy the ride tickets separately.
The option prices cover the whole booking. Pickup within Funchal or at the port is included. A blanket is provided for the ride.

This project is shown throughout the streets of Santa Maria, where numerous doors were painted by different artists giving this street a much-needed glow.
This area is also known for its amazing Poncha drink, a local drink made of rum, lemon, and honey.
Rua de Santa Maria is one of the oldest streets of the city of Funchal, filled with picturesque details, such as the cobblestone floors, and the façades of the old houses.
